Can I print metallic silver using my lexmark printer at home?
I’m just getting into my own business at home. Printing invites, business cards and more, but I was wondering is there any way that i can get special ink to print metallic on photo paper or card stock? If not, then does anyone out there know of a secret to make it look metallic? Any ideas would be great, and very helpful. Thank you so much!
If your talking about 1-2 items I’d suggest using the rub-on (metaillic) transfer sheets sold at local hobby or do it yourself stores.
The ink your talking about is outrageously expensive and I’m not sure it’s totally safe for the average inkjet printer.
The transfer sheets give great results and will give you much better design control too.
